In addition to offering Violin Lessons, Costa Music Studios also offers String Lessons for a wide selection of Orchestra Instruments Including Cello, Bass, Viola. String Lessons are given in our Long Island Studio in Suffolk County, Port Jefferson Station, New York. String Lessons take place in our Spacious Lesson Rooms. For Students who are Unable to Travel, we offer In Home String Lessons. Our Highly Qualified Staff, Instruct All Ages & All Levels. Costa Music Studios Enhances what Schools Districts offer for Group String Lessons in their Orchestra Department. Our Facility offers Private Cello Lessons, Viola Lessons, & Bass Lessons. We work One on One with a Student, Concentrating on their Individual Needs & Goals while Working on Perfecting their Technique.  String Lessons will insure students properly hold their instrument, have the Right Size Instrument, Proper Sitting & Stance Position, Hold the Bow Properly & Finger Placement. Music Theory consists of Note Reading in Bass Clef for Cello & Bass Students, C Clef for Viola Students, Proper Bowing, Playing, Pitch, Rhythm, Scales, Etc. Learn at your own pace in our Private String Lessons where our Teachers will Cater to your specific needs & Musical Aspirations.

For Students who wish to Participate in String Evaluation Examinations & Performance we offer Preparation in NYSSMA & LISFA. College Exam Preparation is Available for  aspiring String Majors. We Offer & Encourage Students to Play in our Voluntary Annual Music Recitals to Showcase Students' Progression & Prepare them in the Important Skill of Musical Performance.
